UL 9540-certified Energy Storage System
KiloVault HAB V4 LiFePO4 battery storage and Schneider Electric XW Pro hybrid inverter are certified to the UL 9540 safety standard for Energy Storage Systems (ESS). A UL 9540-certified ESS is comprised of:
- A UL 1973-certified stationary battery pack, and
- A UL 1741-certified inverter
Rigorous thermal and electrical testing and evaluation of the UL-listed components ensure the battery and the inverter are integrated into a safe, high-performance system.
Closed Loop Communication
Closed-loop communication drastically reduces the amount of manual setup and allows the battery and the inverter to work together more closely and efficiently. The KiloVault HAB’s BMS closed-loop communication will control and adjust the charge and discharge current from the XW Pro inverter, protecting the battery from over charge or discharge, and allowing for greater longevity of the solar power system.
